Niels de Fraguier is a young leader, eco-entrepreneur and author working towards a regenerative economy.
With extensive experience at the intersection of empowerment, social innovation and impact, he has led numerous initiatives that have empowered vulnerable individuals and communities around the world.
Niels has worked with numerous international organisations such as UN agencies and the Council of Europe, multiple NGOs and dozens of pioneering international companies.
In particular, he co-founded the international Positive movement, an initiative that has supported more than 200 companies in their transformation towards regeneration and equity. He developed the first regenerative impact assessment methodology (The Compass for Regenerative Business), offering a 360-degree perspective on business transformation in response to social and environmental crises.
He is the author of ‘The Regenerative Enterprise’, a book supported by scientists and international leaders offering a visionary path for entrepreneurs who want to design robust, equitable businesses that are aligned with the laws of life. Backed by economists, entrepreneurs and systemic thinkers, the book demonstrates that economic renewal can go hand in hand with ecological regeneration.
Niels teaches at several universities around the world, including Sciences Po.
